Broadway Gaming has announced its appointment of Natalie Carter, the former head of regulatory affairs/safer gambling and MLRO at Malta-based One Click Ltd, as its new head of compliance.

Ms Carter is something of a veteran in the iGaming industry, having worked for the past nine years in sportsbook and casino verticals, gaining expertise in both UK and MGA regulations.

In her new position, she will manage day-to-day compliance operations to ensure the business adheres to international regulatory standards, with a core focus on continuing to innovate on Broadway’s commitment to Affordability and Safer Gambling.

She will look to achieve this in close collaboration with industry peers including the Betting and Gaming Council.

Mark Leary, COO at Broadway Gaming, welcomed her, saying: “Natalie’s appointment underlines our commitment to maintaining our position as a leader in compliance and safer gambling and we are delighted to have her on board.

“She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role which will be invaluable in Broadway’s growth strategy.”

Ms Carter celebrated her appointment, saying: “Compliance, Affordability and Safer Gambling are true ions of mine and I cannot wait to steer Broadway’s ongoing mission to drive sustainable player growth.

“Our ambition is setting the best industry standards and I am hugely grateful for the opportunity. I look forward to this challenging new role as the focus on compliance grows ever more important.”
