With three decades of experience in Information Technology (IT), a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, and a remarkable tenure as head of IT at FinXP, Mr Scerri is poised to spearhead the company’s next phase of technological innovation.

Carmelo Romano, the former CTO, has transitioned to a consultative role within the company, continuing to offer his expertise at least until his retirement date in July 2024. Romano has been instrumental in developing FinXP’s robust IT infrastructure and in establishing a scalable international IT department, laying a solid foundation for the company’s future endeavors.
FinXP remains committed to continue leading as a fintech pioneer. The recently launched FinXP PLUS is testament to the company’s forward-looking strategy. FinXP PLUS is an internally developed platform for cross-border payments that leverages Mastercard’s vast network to enable fast, cost-efficient, and reliable pay-outs.
