LeoVegas’ framework and routines on consumer protection have been assessed by industry-leading certification agency eCOGRA, which certified that its services are in conformity with the recommendations that the European Commission has published for online gaming.

Tests and interviews were conducted during Spring, and the British-based agency found that LeoVegas was in conformity will all relevant recommendations, and no other remarks were ed.

Welcoming the certification, Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas CEO commented: “Offering a safe and secure gaming experience and preventing minors from online gambling has always been our top priority.

“It is therefore reassuring that LeoVegas’ work in this area has now been assessed and reviewed by an external, independent party that confirms we are in conformity with the Commission’s recommendations. But our work doesn’t end here; we will continue the need to develop and raise the bar within the entire industry ensure that gaming remains an exciting and safe form of entertainment”.

The assessment was conducted on LeoVegas’ initiative and is part of the company’s work on evaluating and ensuring a safe gaming experience, it explains.

It took place on top of the local authorities’ regular oversight activities in various jurisdictions and covered all of the company’s brands and all markets.

LeoVegas is a Sweden-based operator which describes itself as the “King of Casino”. Its operations are mainly located in Malta and the company’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
