Raketech records €8.3 million Q1 2021 revenue

Malta-based online and content market provider Raketech has posted its financial report for the first quarter of 2021 showing revenue of €8.3 million, representing an increase of 26.6 per cent on the same period a year before.

CEO Oskar Mühlbach was satisfied with the result, noting that whilst Q1 is typically a slower quarter, the revenue figure for the period matched that of Q4.

Additionally, he identified that the company’s primary growth drivers during the quarter came from its Japanese and US operations, and a strong performance in network sales.

“Operation efficiency continues to be high”, he said, and “growth from [Raketech’s] core operations can be expected to have a positive impact on margin over time”.

Looking to the future, Mr Mühlbach presented a positive outlook, affirming that the company’s team is “currently focusing on ensuring [it] maximises the potential from the European Championships in Football coming up in June”.

He also took the opportunity to issue a warm welcome to industry veteran Ulrik Bengtsson, who is nominated to take on the role of Chairman being vacated by outgoing Christian Lundberg.
