Stakelogic boosts in-house capabilities with acquisition of Hurricane Games

Stakelogic studio has completed its second takeover of slots developer Hurricane Games in just as many weeks .

The company recently acquired Belgrade-based game developer Smart&Applied – rebranded to Stakelogic Serbia – in a bid to increase its in-house capabilities and to further strengthen their development capacity.

Hurricane Games’ employees will be retained post-acquisition and will be ed by the larger Stakelogic international network. The studio has previously been working with Stakelogic via its Greenlogic development partner program.

CEO at Stakelogic Stephan van den Oetelaar remarked that “the acquisition of Hurricane Games takes our in-house development capabilities to the next level, allowing us to grow at pace while also delivering new, exciting content to our operator partners on a regular basis.”

Director at Hurricane Games Andrew Fraser commented: “Stakelogic has been instrumental in our rise to date and I am thrilled to further strengthen the relationship between both studios via this acquisition.”

Stakelogic holds four gambling licenses and owns games certified in 16 jurisdictions.
